Howdy!
In an earlier post, I left space for the company to find another way to have a positive impact. Today, I believe I have found an exciting solution to a growing problem. This problem is growing locally and globally. The problem; food scarcity, insecurity and depleting inventory at local food banks.
The Mayor of Toronto, Olivia Chow, declared a food insecurity to be an emergency in December. Article.

Our proposal: for every 10 food pouches sold we donate 1 food pouch to local food banks.
Our products are ideal as a nutritional solution to easily prepare a healthy meal. We can further adapt our recipes to be suitable to a broader base of people as required. With a cup of boiling water and a little patience, our recipes soak up the water, re-hydrating the dried vegetables and cooking the couscous providing for a significant bowl of food that offers a balance of plant-based protein, carbohydrates, and fats.
The local Food Bank in Barrie has received an initial allotment of food pouches, many more than the 10:1 ratio of sales thus far, but charity is a gift for everyone involved. Speaking with the local Food Bank, these meals are ideal for a variety of uses, particularly as emergency food and for the un-housed community. Perfect!
So, it is within this company’s ability to help support Food Banks and we will be further researching opportunities to foster a charitable solution to help with the growing need to support local Food Banks and those in need!
Thank YOU for making it possible to be charitable!
It’s time to test your gear and get ready to enjoy the great outdoors!
Until next time.
Kind regards,
Blair
